Unlike the first installment, this second book includes not only private estates but also areas of special interest, which reflect what the countryside was like in enclaves as diverse as the Picos de Europa, the Pyrenees, Gredos, the Monreal mountain range, the Real Monte de El Pardo, the Coto de Doñana or the Llanos de la Ina.

In the variety of places chosen, the diversity of native species (mountain goats, roe deer, deer, chamois, wild boar, bustards, partridges, geese, ducks...) and the plurality of types of farms have been taken into account. The texts are written by the owners or the descendants of the former owners of these places, which undoubtedly gives special closeness and familiarity to the stories.
