This second installment contains testimonies from the Spanish rural world from the end of the 19th century to 1045.

The difference with the first installment is that this one not only features private estates but also areas of special interest, reflecting what the countryside was like in environments as diverse as the Picos de Europa, the Pyrenees, Gredos, the Monreal mountain range, the Real Monte de El Pardo, the Coto de Doñana, and the Llanos de la Ina.

The variety of locations chosen takes into account the diversity of native species (mountain goats, roe deer, deer, chamois, wild boar, great bustards, partridges, geese, ducks, etc.) and the variety of farm types. The texts are written by the owners or descendants of former owners of these places, which undoubtedly lends a special relatability and familiarity to the stories.
