How to make scented candles
In Spain, making a scented candle is very simple and at Real Fábrica we provide everything you need to make your candle a reality, to your taste and how you want it with our air freshener kit. In addition, we give you some tips to follow to make homemade scented candles:
- Attaching the wicks: Secure the wicks with holders and place them in the candle containers. Adjust so that they are centered and straight.
- Melt the wax: Cut or chop the wax into small pieces. Melt the wax in a pot over low heat or in the microwave. Use a thermometer to keep the temperature under control.
- Adding Fragrance: When the wax is completely melted, add the essential oil of your choice to add fragrance.
- Pouring the wax: Carefully pour the wax into the candle containers, making sure not to move the wicks out of position.
- Cooling and solidifying: Allow the candles to cool and solidify completely before moving them. This may take several hours.
- Trim the wicks: Once the wax is solid, trim the wicks to the desired length.
- Decoration: Decorate your candles with additional details, such as bows, tags, or themed decorations.
- Storage and Use: Allow candles to sit for at least 24 hours before use. Store candles in a cool, dark place until ready to use.
