This semi-deep plate is decorated with traditional motifs from Cáceres pottery: blue scales, grass-green flies, and a carmine border.
José, our potter from Cáceres, is part of a long family tradition of ceramists, being the fifth generation to continue the craft and maintaining the same artisanal techniques and designs as his predecessors. He uses natural glazes and fires in wood-fired kilns, which gives his works a texture and color that cannot be replicated by industrial methods. His pieces are recognizable by the floral motifs typical of Cáceres pottery and the vibrant colors of their edges.
