Enamelware Soup Bowl with Red Rim
Just think of how many good soups and gazpachos have been served in these lovely enamelware soup bowls, that were in the trousseau for most Spanish households.
We are so happy that these enamelware pieces, that will remind Spaniards of their childhood, are making a comeback, along with the love for retro decor!
Pewter or enamelware is the name given to the vitreous enamel steel objects that could be found in every kitchen in Spain back in the day.
- Due to the technology used to make these pewter pieces, there will be some unique burns, but this is normal and they give them their rustic character that we love about these objects.
- You can use these pieces in the oven, over gas stoves, electric or vitros, but they won't work well with induction stoves.
- You can wash them in your dishwasher, but don't put them in the microwave as they're made out of metal.
