La Dalia, founded in 1913, is one of the oldest and most prestigious brands in the production of this condiment. This paprika, with Protected Designation of Origin, is an emblematic product of the La Vera region, in Extremadura, Spain, recognized for its quality and distinctive flavor.
La Dalia uses an artisanal process to make its sweet paprika. During the first days of autumn, the peppers are harvested by hand. They are then slowly dried for 15 days over oak and holm oak fires, which infuses them with a smoky flavour. Once drying is complete, the peppers are ground in traditional stone mills, achieving a fine, vibrantly coloured powder.
