Maragata Wool Beige Rainbow Blanket
These are blankets of Pure Virgin Wool, handmade and with long traditional manufacture history.
The textile industry in Val de San Lorenzo in León has a long tradition. In the middle of the XVIII century there were 81 cloth manufacturers in the village. There are documents that explain that since the XVII century merchants came to buy cloths in the Val. The main characteristic of these fabrics is the impressive degree of isolation that sheep wool has, (the only "hollow" fiber that exists), thanks to a traditional process of obtaining and carding it, they can get thousands of natural "air chambers" which can isolate the cold.
You may wash this blanket with mild detergent in cold water, but dry cleaning is always a better option if you want to keep it for years.
