A vision of Spain through photography, from the first daguerreotypes to the present. Through the images selected for the volume, some installed in the collective memory and identified with key moments of the recent past, it is possible to take an exciting tour of our history, our landscape, the architecture of the towns and cities in which we live and the society we form. The selection of images is preceded by two monographic articles in which Jordi Canal and Alejandro Castellote reflect on the development of Spain in the last 160 years and the history of photography in our country.
