Every cook knows that the most versatile knife in the kitchen is the puntilla or patatero. It is used for almost everything and is the multipurpose tool of any self-respecting chef.
Our steel and acacia handle cutlery comes from Fonsagrada, a town located in the eastern part of Galicia, almost on the border with Asturias. This region, between the Eo and Navia rivers, is traditionally linked to iron work.
Today's artisans recover and update tradition to make these beautiful pieces to bring to your table. They are made with 14C28 stainless steel, very high quality steel. For the handles, they use wood from native trees that come from sustainable forests in the Fonsagrada area, such as boxwood, birch, walnut or uz.
