The onion knife is a wardrobe staple in the kitchen. It is used for everything: cutting and chopping vegetables, fish, meat... It is so versatile that it is also known as a chef's knife, and great chefs have an almost reverential affection for it.
Our steel and acacia handle cutlery comes from Fonsagrada, a town located in the eastern part of Galicia, almost on the border with Asturias. This region, between the Eo and Navia rivers, is traditionally linked to iron work.
Today's artisans recover and update tradition to make these beautiful pieces to bring to your table. They are made with 14C28 stainless steel, very high quality steel. For the handles, they use wood from native trees that come from sustainable forests in the Fonsagrada area, such as boxwood, birch, walnut or uz.
- Measurements: 30 x 5 cm
- For their care, keep in mind that they cannot withstand the use of dishwashers and should be washed with mild soap and warm water, as well as dried well to prevent the steel from rusting.
