The 'Cocidito Madrileño' is a chickpea stew with vegetables, meat and sausages. It was created and made by Spanish working classes and was served in taverns and pubs, however there are also elegant and luxurious restaurants in Madrid, that serve this typical dish, such as the Lardhy who have served it since 1890.
