These donkey heads are a tribute to craftsmanship and the culture of the south. Handcrafted from natural esparto grass, they are a symbol of the rich Andalusian artisan tradition. They come from the hands of those great Andalusian artisans that you remember sitting at the door of their white house with colorful geraniums in the window. They carefully braided what hours later would become a basket, a donkey or a flowerpot. The quality of the esparto grass is evident in each braid.
