These donkey heads are a tribute to the craftsmanship and culture of the south. Handcrafted from natural esparto grass, they are a symbol of Andalusia's rich artisan tradition. They come from the hands of those great Andalusian artisans you remember sitting at the door of their white houses with colorful geraniums in the window. They carefully braided what hours later would become a basket, a donkey, or a flowerpot. The quality of the esparto grass is evident in every braid.
