The espadrille, born in the 13th century in the landscapes of La Rioja, Catalonia, and the Basque Country, accompanied farmers and artisans for centuries. In the 20th century, its comfort and simplicity captured the attention of artists and designers, who transformed it into a fashion symbol.
Ours are made in Logroño, with a natural jute sole, rubber base, and herringbone canvas upper.
*Espadrilles stretch with wear, but we still recommend ordering a size up.
