Originating in the 13th century in the lands and mountains of La Rioja, Catalonia, and the Basque Country, the espadrille was the faithful footwear of peasants and artisans for centuries. By the 20th century, its simplicity and comfort attracted artists, celebrities, and designers, who turned it into an iconic fashion piece.
Handcrafted in Logroño, they feature a natural jute sole, rubber base, and herringbone canvas upper.
