The vermouth of La Rioja has a first and last name, Vermut Lacuesta, and a secret, Conzia, a master formula for making artisan vermouth that has been produced since 1937. Vermouth, marianito (half vermouth) or vermouth prepared according to the combination of each one. Vermouth Lacuesta is drunk in many ways. With traditional snails or sushi, prepared or alone, on tap or in the bottle.

In the midst of the Civil War, the Martínez Lacuesta brothers decided to enter the world of wine aperitifs and increase their range of products. In the 1930s they exclusively purchased the conzia recipe from Mr. José María Jové, a Catalan of Swiss descent.

This artisanal formula incorporates aromatic plants and herbs from various sources that, together with white wine and aging in French oak barrels, give Lacuesta Vermouth its characteristic flavor that makes it ideal as an aperitif or as a base for cocktails. Since then, we have researched new formulas to produce different varieties, all with the distinctive, classic and contemporary flavor of Martínez Lacuesta.
