Quince Paste La Góndola - Choir

This quince paste is traditionally made in Córdoba using seasonal fresh fruit. Quinces are carefully harvested and selected in September at the perfect ripeness. The quince plant fruit comes from a tree that is quite similar to the almond tree. The fruit is taken at the correct ripeness to make this paste, that's why this is one of the best quince pastes you'll ever try. It is quite firm and has a lot of flavour, so it's perfect with cheese! 

The Cordoban population from Puente Genil, that sits right on the Genil River has the best tradition of making and producing the best quince meat in the world! La Góndola is a family company started in 1914 when D. Antonio Aguilar Berral decided to make something with all the fruit trees and olive trees he owned.
