In order to understand what makes this organic extra virgin olive oil, packaged in a recyclable glass bottle, so special, you will first need to know what the 'flor de aceite' which translates to the best part about the oil, is. It's simple: a small amount of olive juice is extracted by itself, and passed through a filter, before its first pressing. This olive juice is precious, since you need 11 kg of olives to make 1 litre of oil, and not the 5 kg that are obtained from the first press.
The Nuñez de Prado family has produced oil for 7 generations. It is a Spanish olive oil produced in ecological and artisanal Andalusia with a lovely flavour that leaves a long and pleasant aftertaste.
