Couple of Happy Swallows

This gorgeous pair of stylised black swallows, with long tails, is the perfect gift. In Spain, the arrival of the swallows is the first sign that Spring is coming soon. These swallows are a decorative tradition for Mediterranean homes, they come from the Manises area in Valencia.

They are handmade with artist G. Martínez's 1921 original moulds and his ceramic techniques. Nowadays, they are made in his artisan factory, his sons are the ones in charge of keeping the tradition alive by keeping every detail the same.

• We will send the swallow in a beautiful kraft box: on their own, in pairs if you prefer, or even the whole 6 unit flock with a little note to tell you a beautiful story about these pieces.
• These are handmade, one by one with patience and love, in Valencia so sometimes it takes some time to replenish our stock. Get them while you can!
• They have a small hole on their backs so you can hang them anywhere. Super easy!
