Potato Knife from Fonsagrada

Every cook knows that the most versatile knife in the kitchen is the small chopping knife or the potato knife. Useful for almost everything and is the multipurpose tool that any amateur cook needs. 

It comes from Fonsagrada, a region in the east of Galicia, almost on the Asturias border, between the Eo and Navia rivers, traditionally the area is know for working with iron. 

Nowadays the artisans update and use the traditional techniques to make these beautiful pieces to display on your table. As for the handles, they are made from local trees found in sustainable forests.
