This Jijona nougat is a top quality nougat, with a brown dough, due to the special roasting of the almond. Fine and very creamy texture with a pleasant flavor and aroma of almond and honey.
In 1961, Ricardo Coloma García acquired the brand and machinery of 1780 Eliseo Miquel, an artisan who sold nougat at fairs. With this little machinery, Coloma García was created, which began with the manufacture of artisan nougats and sweets for the Christmas season and special liquid nougats for the ice cream industry, but always maintaining Jijonenca customs.
