As our artisan says: "a good botijo ​​has to sweat." And Jose knows a lot about botijos, because he is part of one of the families with the most pottery tradition in this country . His surname has been linked since the beginning of the 20th century to this trade, which has been passed down from generation to generation to his different children and different workshops.

This fish-shaped jug is a unique and unrepeatable product, given its manual manufacture. It is made in a town in Alicante, Agost, which is traditionally a potter and is known for its white clay jugs.

• Their interior is not lacquered so they are porous and "sweat" water. We recommend putting a plate underneath so as not to damage the surface where it rests.
