Siurells Nativity Cave

Típicos de la artesanía de Mallorca, estas pequeñas figuritas de barro hechas a mano por mujeres, bañadas en cal y pintadas con rayas de colores tienen un pequeño silbato con el que los niños jugaban en ferias y fiestas de guardar. Representan hombres con sombreros y algún que otro diablillo o ser fantástico.

Nuestros belenes y siurells están hechos en Marratxí, en pleno corazón de la terra del fang, zona a la que se trasladaron la mayor parte de los alfareros por la calidad de la tierra de la zona. Allí, nuestras artesanas llevan modelando siurells por más de 100 años, siguiendo la tradición que pasa de abuelas a madres y, finalmente a hijas.
