Siurells Nativity Tree

Típicos de la artesanía de Mallorca, estos belenes de siurells están hechos en barro de manera artesana por mujeres, que luego bañan en cal y pintan con rayas de colores.

Están hechos en Marratxí, en pleno corazón de la terra del fang, zona a la que se trasladaron la mayor parte de los alfareros por la calidad de la tierra de la zona. Allí, nuestras artesanas llevan modelando siurells por más de 100 años, siguiendo la tradición que pasa de abuelas a madres y, finalmente a hijas.
