Calasparra Bomba Rice

The Albufera rice, received under the designation of Origin Arroz de Valencia, is a rice with a pearly appearance, resulting from the crossing of the Sénia and Bomba varieties, obtaining from the first its excellent capacity for correct absorption of the broth and from the second the greatest resistance to "open" during cooking, leaving loose rice with a soft and creamy texture.

With a cooking time of approximately 20 minutes, it is a highly appreciated variety for preparing Valencian dishes of creamy and brothy rice.
