Raw honey is the purest liquid honeybee produce from the nectar of flowers. It's collected straight from the extractor and it's totally unheated, unpasteurized and unprocessed. It's quite common to find them in farmer's market, and grandmas used to bring home a jar when they visited their hometowns.
This type, comes from thyme plants, it has amber color and a touch of a citric taste to it. This is gathered in spring, in the Mediterranean region by small producers.
