Mejillones are smaller mussels that are much more flavourful than the bigger ones. They are kept in a delicious salty gourmet brine.  

Spaniards enjoy this small yet flavoursome seafood with a glass of Albariño white wine.

The shellfish can be found in the Galician rivers surrounding northern Spain. The shellfish farmers still use traditional methods of conserving, protecting and producing the high quality mussels, which is why they taste so good! they are caught with care and patience, so that you can enjoy their delicious flavour!
