El Casco Hand Crank Pencil Sharpener
They are called the rolls-royce of stationery. These engineering masterpieces. They were born in Eibar, in the Basque Country, as a result of the crisis of 1929. The company's beginnings were firearms, and as a result of the crisis, they were forced to diversify and began to manufacture stationery articles with the same quality and technical precision that their weapons had: a bullet had to parade through the barrel of a revolver with the same precision that a staple had to parade through its lane.
One of the first manufactured stationery items was the classic chrome stapler and automatic numerator that came into use in many public offices. After the success of these products, new models were conceived, such as pencil sharpeners, letter scales or drills.
